What is Pahari Mandir?

Pahari Mandir is a very Famous Mandir In Ranchi, Jharkhand, India and it’s located near the Ratu Road of the city of Ranchi in Jharkhand. Pahari Mandir is situated at 2140 feet from sea level and this mandir is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva alias Pahari Mandir is located 7km far from Ranchi terminus at Ratu Road.

Pahari Mandir’ real name of this embedded previous knife Mandir that is three hundred foot high is Ranchi Buru. This Temple is also known as Hill Temple and the story of this temple is very interesting. In British time this temple’s name was Hanging Garry Because freedom fighters were hanged here under British rule that’s why before this temple name was Hanging Garry.

The first tricolor flag was hoisted here in Ranchi after independence and it was hoisted by freedom fighter Krishna Chandra Das. And after that, every independence day and republic day every year the tricolor is hoisted here and there is a stone which is the message of freedom of the country written on the midnight In 1947 of August 14 and 15.
